At Maven, we take the time to listen. Whether you’re coming in for a bespoke colour, a personalised skin treatment, a little maintenance or simply some time for yourself, we want your experience to feel personal. Our team is made up of talented, passionate people who care about what they do. We’re big on education, continuing to learn and making sure we’re offering treatments, products and advice that we genuinely believe in. While we love beautiful hair and gorgeous skin, we think the experience matters just as much. You should leave Maven feeling a little lighter, a little more confident and excited to return. Meet the team
Hairdressing has been such a huge part of my life, and creating Maven has been one of my proudest achievements. I love helping people feel like the best version of themselves, whether that’s through a subtle refresh or a complete change. For me, it’s about listening, understanding what will work for you, and creating hair that feels effortless and beautiful long after you leave the salon.
One of the things I love most is building a team. Watching our stylists grow in confidence and skill, and creating a salon where both our clients and team feel genuinely looked after, is incredibly rewarding. Education has always been important to me, and I’m passionate about ensuring we’re continually learning and evolving.
When I’m not at Maven, you’ll usually find me on my flower farm. Growing flowers has become another creative outlet for me and gives me the balance and inspiration I need outside the salon.
Maven has always been about more than great hair. It’s about creating a space where people feel welcome, relaxed, and leave feeling confident. I feel incredibly grateful to do what I love every day.
I’ve been front of house in the hair and beauty industry for over three years, and I still love how fast-paced and people-focused every day is.
I love being the first point of contact, welcoming clients and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
The hair and beauty industry genuinely makes people feel confident and cared for. Seeing the results at the end of an appointment and the smiles that come with them make each day a pleasure.
I bring an organised, friendly presence to the salon. I’m good at multitasking, remembering client details, and making sure both the team and clients feel supported.
I’m very family-oriented and love spending time with my family whenever I can. Having helped raise a household of boys after growing up with only sisters has definitely kept life interesting (lol).
On weekends, you’ll find me catching up with family, recharging after the gym or a walk, or grabbing a meal with the girlfriends. A glass of wine and a meal cooked by my husband is pretty much the perfect end to a busy week.
Hi, I am Michelle, I’ve worked at Maven for over six year you’ll find me up the top in the corner of our beautiful salon.
We have a great team full of amazing talent, work and social ethics very high priority we have lots of laughter and fun everyday.
I’ve been hairdressing for 46 years i love all expects of hairdressing but these days the majority of my work is expert cuts and blowaves with some colour and foil work popped in.
I Love the connection I have with my clients we have a laugh and great conversation so good.
I have recently become the salon trainer, this feels really good to pass on my skills to our younger team in to salon even though I can be rather ocd they take it all in and thrive in our environment.
Outside of work I’m abit of a home body have three children five grandchildren which I adore.
I’ve been hairdressing for over 20 years, beginning my journey at just 17 through a course at EIT. I’m inspired by creating beautiful blonde and effortless lived-in colour, I also have a passion for hair extensions.
When you sit in my chair, you can expect a calm, relaxed, and genuinely cared-for experience. Your time in my chair is always about you. I believe great hair starts with feeling comfortable, being heard, and feeling confident.
A little about me outside the salon: I’ve been married to my husband Chris for almost nine years, and together we have two beautiful children, Kylah and Arthur, who keep us very busy. On the weekends, you’ll usually find us enjoying family time – bike rides, scooter rides, walks and the occasional ice-cream outing.
I get excited about any meal involving seafood… mainly because my husband doesn’t eat it – even though he’s the one who spends the time catching it.
I’ve been in the hair industry for over 4½ years, and what I love most is the genuine connections I get to build with my clients, helping them feel confident, beautiful, and truly themselves. Hairdressing is constantly evolving, which means I’m always learning, growing, and refining my craft.
I’m all about hair that’s tailored to you. Your lifestyle, your personality, and your everyday reality. Everyone deserves hair that continues to look and feel amazing long after they’ve left the salon. My favourite services include all things blonde, embracing natural curls, and creating big, bouncy blow waves.
Outside of the salon, I’m a proud partner to Callum and mum to my daughter, Emily. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me getting creative with arts and crafts, or heading out on little adventures with my favourite trio. And yes, KFC is an absolute favourite… it’s a birthday tradition that’s non-negotiable!
With 20 years’ experience in the beauty industry, I am a passionate beauty therapist specialising in personalised skin journeys and results-driven facials. I believe great skin is built over time through consistency, trust, and treatments tailored to each individual, never one-size-fits-all.
I am deeply passionate about knowledge and staying at the forefront of the ever-evolving beauty industry. I continually invest in ongoing education and embrace new innovations to ensure my clients receive the most effective, up-to-date treatments and advice. Learning is something I truly value, and I believe education is a lifelong journey.
My approach is nurturing, intuitive, and highly personal. I’ve had the privilege of caring for many of my clients for decades, building long-standing relationships grounded in trust, understanding, and genuine results. Known for my signature scalp, neck, and shoulder massage, my facials are designed not only to transform the skin but also provide deep relaxation and restoration.
Outside of the treatment room, family is at the heart of my life. You’ll often find me on the sidelines supporting my children at their sporting games. Football plays a big role in our family, with my fiancée being both a former player and a passionate football coach, making the sport an important part of our everyday life.
I’m a passionate beauty therapist who loves helping people feel confident, relaxed, and cared for. I enjoy creating a welcoming environment where every treatment is a chance to unwind and enjoy some well-deserved self-care.
Seeing my clients leave feeling refreshed and happy is the most rewarding part of what I do, and I’m excited to continue growing my skills while providing a relaxing experience where everyone feels their best.
I’ve been in the hair industry for three years, and I love that no two days are the same. Connecting with clients and working alongside a supportive team is what makes each day enjoyable.

Outside the salon I’m a family girl, close with my mum, dad, and three sisters. On weekends, you’ll find me shopping or at the gym, and when it comes to food, I’ll always make room for dessert!
I’m a third-year Rising Stylist at Maven, and I genuinely love what I do. For me, hairdressing is about so much more than creating beautiful hair, it’s about helping you feel confident, refreshed, and like the very best version of yourself.

I began my journey in the hair industry in mid-2025, starting with work placement through school before continuing on full-time as an apprentice here at Maven Hair and Skin. I’ve always been drawn to hair and beauty, so this industry felt like a natural fit from the start.
What I love most about each day is the opportunity to learn and grow alongside experienced stylists in a supportive, positive environment.
I pride myself on being reliable, hardworking, and committed to developing my skills across all areas of hairdressing, while contributing to a strong team culture.
Family is a big part of who I am, and I’m grateful for the support of my parents and two siblings. Outside the salon, you’ll find me being a social butterfly, spending time with friends and family, and never turning down a good pasta dish.
